Microsoft retired the interface behind them on June 30, 2026. This plugin does not use it: it works with the Teams app on your computer.

On a Mac: allow Accessibility, then restart Stream Deck
Open System Settings, go to Privacy & Security, then Accessibility, and switch on Elgato Stream Deck.

Why did the Teams plugin for Stream Deck stop working?
Microsoft retired the interface its own plugin relied on, effective June 30, 2026. Nothing is wrong with your Stream Deck.
Does the mute key show whether I am muted?
Yes, in a meeting. The key goes dark with a struck-through mic when Teams reports you muted. This works with Teams in English or German.
Does it work when Teams is not the active window?
Yes. On a Mac, Teams does not need to come to the front. On Windows, Teams usually comes to the front for a moment.
Does it work on a Mac?
Yes. It works with the Microsoft Teams desktop app (new Teams) on macOS 15 or later and on Windows 11. On Windows also with Teams installed as an app from Chrome.
What does it cost? Is it a subscription?
It is a paid plugin and a one-time purchase on the Elgato Marketplace. No subscription. The Marketplace shows the current price.
Does it send any data?
No. The plugin makes no network requests. It keeps a local diagnostic log on your computer, which includes meeting window titles.
Is Arise Teams Controller the same plugin as Arise Controller for Teams?
Yes. Arise Controller for Teams is a previous name used on this website for the same plugin. Its canonical Elgato Marketplace name is Arise Teams Controller.
