No telemetry, no update checks, no account. It runs on your computer, reads Slack's huddle buttons there and talks only to the Stream Deck app.

Does the mute key show whether I am muted?

Yes, in a huddle. The key is green while your mic is live and red with a struck-through mic when Slack shows you as muted.

Does it work when Slack is not the active window?

Yes. On a Mac, Slack stays in the background. On Windows the huddle window comes to the front for an instant, then your app has focus again.

Does it work with the huddle in its own window?

Yes. It works with the huddle docked in the Slack window and with the huddle in a window of its own.

Which Slack does it work with?

The Slack desktop app on Windows 11 and macOS 15 or later, with Slack set to English or German. Slack in a browser is not supported.

What does it cost? Is it a subscription?

It is a paid plugin and a one-time purchase on the Elgato Marketplace. No subscription. The Marketplace shows the current price.

Does it send any data?

No. The plugin makes no network requests. It keeps a local diagnostic log on your computer.
